So guys!! Seriously, on an average-- How good does an H22a (possibly from prelude 92 - 95 OBD1) do in a qtr mile when swapped into a 94 2 dr accord?? When swapped into a 2 dr 94 accord, can they beat the living hell out of the B18C1 (GSR) swapped into a hatch back??
Give me all your stories... Thanks!! |

Re: H22A SwaP... Watta The Specs??
I am not sure but i have a 1996 accord, 4 door and
have a f20b motor swap in it from an accord SiR. It runs the quater mile in about 14.xx. Not too slow but not as fast as some other imports of course. I say it probably runs a quater mile just as fast as a integra gsr or type r or prelude, around 14 secs or higher. |

Re: H22A SwaP... Watta The Specs??
94 accord 4dr EX weight 3020lbs w/ H22 (190hp)
94 Civic DX Hatchback weight 2253lbs w/ B16C1(175HP) ACCORD 15.89 LB/HP CIVIC 12.87 LB/HP Civic still be faster, because engine carries less weight. to catch up you need decrease weight of accord or increase engine out put to about 240hp (crank).
