Yeah, like Hybrid said it was poor translation in an old Japanese video game. A bunch of people thought it was funny and decided to plant the phrase everywhere they can...I think it's hilarious. Most are photoshoped onto pictures where something happened, as an alternative but similar meaning to "0wned", however, it can often be seen actually on things, cars, books, whatever, all over the world
