Question second-hand

Do you sell your old stuff?if so,how?would you buy second hand or used household items?Or do you hoard stuff forever?

My wife wants to have a garage sale.I want to keep all my hoarded stuff. There is friction in the air.

I keep everything... I figure that once it's paid for, it's not costing me any money, and there may be a time when I need/want it.

I have alot of music equipment I could sell for some decent money if I was so inclined, but the way I look at it, it's paid for, and I should considdder myself lucky to have it in my possession... why give it up?

I could stand to get rid of alot of my girlfriends crap though HAHAHAHA

Too many knick-knacks... all over the damn place.

Sell some things through notice boards, word of mouth etc. such as stereos, TVs and stuff. But stuff I can use when I move out of home - like kettles, toasters etc. I tend to hoarde(sp?).

Naki-What do you want to keep/Wife wants to get rid of?
Ci5ic-Wouldn't the cash be better if you don't USE the musical stuff??

Not only do I hoard MY old stuff, I'll hoard other people's stuff if it's free or cheap. That equals problems in a 500 sq. ft. efficiency.

Not really... I'd probably spend it on something stupid... like bills.

Why not keep it, and from time to time enjoy it.

I've contemplated selling stuff before, but only when money's tight, and I always decide that it's not costing me anything to keep it, and if I sell it, I'll have nothing to show for it, so might as well keep it and figure out another way to make ends meet.
