E320 Side Marker Lamp question

My left front side marker lamp cover was broken recently. I spoke with my local MB parts department and was told the tinted plastic cover costs around $20, but they could not tell me if this is something I can easily install myself.

Anyone know if the side marker lamp cover requires any special tools or is it relatively simple to replace? The light itself still works fine...just the cover needs replacing.

Any info would be greatly appreciated!

Didnt you know that this is the MB flaw, their light always breaks. If you know stuff in cars then you know what to do.

Easily fixed

Just FYI....I did buy the $20 replacement cover and it installed very easily. Old one pops off, new one fits in. No problems, and much cheaper than having the service department do it.
