SI & HF Compatability??

Ok, here's the scope. I found a 90 HF for not much $$. its bone stock but might need a new head or headwork done(floated valve). EIther way, I need to get it running with minimal $$. I have an SI engine with one bad cylinder & piston, a dx tranny and a spare d15b7 head. Any suggestions here? Iam basically trying to determine what parts can be interchanged from the d16a6 SI engine to the HF engine and hopefully make a better driving HF utilizing what I have.

come on now!

Re: SI & HF Compatability??

cant name the drive ratios right off hand, but I believe the hf tranny has a lower gear ratio, for good gas mileage. As for bolting up, I'm pretty sure every thing will bolt up, the z6 intake is kinda iffy, maby someone else knows for sure.
