Well road race motor sports got there header out in time for christmas. It looks great and is supposed to perform even better. It runs for 379 plus shipping, but by the look of it I'm sure it's worth every penny. Check it out at www.roadracemotorsports.com on the lancer page. Also check out their forged pistons while you're at it.

FYI I spoke to Rob about that and it will work with their turbo kit (as it uses a return pipe to feed the turbine). Rob's not going to be at the shop for a while, but it will be left in Gabriel's more than capable hands. I think their development will be ceased for a bit, but they will continue taking orders and running their shop as usual sans Mr. Tallini.

Hey Hobie,
I figured that the header would be compatible with their turbo kit, but do you happen to know if it would be compatible with the stage 2 from rpw. I'm still debating which to get but it would be good to if there was a header available to go with the new intake and throttle body manifolds I get with the t-25 kit from rpw if that is the one I choose. Thanx |

No. Definitely not. RPW's setup uses a turbo manifold whereas RRM's uses the stock extractors and a return pipe.
If you plan on upping the boost from 5-6 psi at ALL I'd really recommend the T28. And don't skimp. Be sure to get an LSD or you'll be spinning and smoking tires in first and second without even trying. EDIT: Oh yeah, and supposedly RRM will be making a turbo manifold eventually, but I originally heard that in September. They're already way backed up on development and Rob is having surgery done so God only knows if/when it'll be done. Either way you can't go wrong. In my opinion both kits have their shortcomings but neither is bad.

Thanx Hobie,
Via vision imports the stage two kit from rpw is supposed to come with a significant number of upgrades so they tell me. Supposedly it is all the upgrades listed under the stage two discription, but for the price of the kit I think it might be a bit shaddy. Guess I'll just have to wait and find out. You know I've come to a conclusion between you and me I'm pretty sure we could find almost anything for a lancer. Peace:flash: |

Nothin' personal, but I think I'd do fine on my own. There's a lot I haven't mentioned either because no one's seemed interested.
RPW now has a drum to disc conversion out for ES models and LS/OZ will follow shortly as soon as they source 114.3x4 bolt pattern rotors. ![]() I'll be on those like white on rice.
