Where the hell do the pipes go???

I guess this has been asked a hundred times before and I know that I have seen ithere somewhere but have had no joy with the 'search'.

Where the hell do I connect each end of the intercooler?? I have looked at several threads, especially the ITR ones but cant see a clear picture of how this thing is fitted in.

Any info appreciated.

Richie

Filter (intake) ==> turbo ==>intercooler ==> engine

Here are a couple of threads (one for modelling, the other to understand the principle)

thread one

thread two

Ah, used to be in my sig, but sold it back in Oct in UK. Unfortunately have lived in Norway for over a year, so the last time I saw my car was back in Sept 2001 and to be honest, was too busy driving like a loon to notice where all the pipes went.

Thanks Ales for the threads, a great help. I should have put it better really. I know the system/circuit, but cant quite remember how or where it is actually connected to the turbo.

The trouble is I'm working on an R32 engine with huge twin truck turbos without the car body for the moment (gonna go in the S14) and really want to put the pipes exactly in the right place on the turbo units themselves.
