Mitsubishi Lancer Evo IV Catalunia 1997 Winner Tamigawa 1:24

Here is my last project - Mitsubishi lancer Evolution IV from Catalunia Rally 1997, first tarmac Makinen Winner.
I start with two kits Tamiya and Hasegawa.

Extra decals from Hasegawa kit:

First I prepare Tamiya chassis to Hasegawa body:

Nice start.
I'll be following this one !

In the last picture in your second post, it appears there some damage to the wheel well. It seems like there is a dent in the plastic. It is also visible in the first picture in your third post (above the rear wheel, to the left of the middle).
Not dramatic, but it might be something you can repair before painting.

Re: Mitsubishi Lancer Evo IV Catalunia 1997 Winner Tamigawa 1:24

Nice start! IMO the stance is a bit too low at the front, as well as the shape of the rear wheel well which needs to be fixed (that's a common problem among all Hasegawa Evo IVs) other than that everything looks great. Keep up the good work!

I'll also be starting on this exact model in a bit. Can't wait to see more progress pics from you!

Cheers

Don't know about the underside.
I'd wait until rallymaster chimes in. It's a nice trivia question for him...

The panels are most likely kevlar. How did you get all the wider Tamiya bits under there or is that just mocked up without the suspension?
