95 S-10 ABS Question
95 s-10 had wire worn through caused by wheel rubbing on wire. This gave the ABS warning light. After repairing wire the warning light does not go off.
I checked the resistance of both front sensors and they were both around 1350 ohms. Do I need to reset the computer?? Will removing the battery cables reset the computer?? When I start the truck the abs light goes off and then comes back on and stays on. The original scan code said the problem was the front right sensor and that is the one with the open wire. I was hoping fixing the wire would fix the problem. Thanks for any help! |

Re: 95 S-10 ABS Question
ABS codes will clear there self after probem is fixed and the key is turned off and on.
If the light is still on recheck and clear code with a scanned. If it comes back yoiu still have a problem. Post back what code you had to start with and what code it still has.
