Audi R8 (M-Tuning Style)

I also got the Revell R8,
I will build mine a bit customized in M-Tuning Style

The car itself will be white like this one:

I think I will use Rays CE28 wheels in white.
They are still bronze on the photos, but they will be white later on:

The first thing I did is changing the headlights to this:

And here is the part in 1:24

I also carbonized the engine bay:

This is the 1:1 car:

And here's the start I made on the engine:

Re: Audi R8 (M-Tuning Style)

Some of the photos won't work, great color choice. Also nice work on the cf, gotta say that this kit isn't tooo bad. One thing i would have to change is the front grill, huge spot for the license plate.

Great!!
Those wheels look cool; I’m looking forward to this build!

And I’m just waiting for the hobby shops around to have it on the shelves…

Very nice so far

IMO the side view is not really well designed with the CF block... but just my taste.

Re: Audi R8 (M-Tuning Style)

Looks excellent. I can't wait to pick up this kit.

EDIT: Also, are the 4 rings on the engine block decals or did you paint then scrape?

Excellent work! That carbon fibre work you've done is awesome. The CE28N's look great on this car too! Can't wait to see it finished

Re: Audi R8 (M-Tuning Style)

I've done some work in Photoshop.

I've made several front ends.

I really don't know which one to choose.

Maybe you can help me?

Here are the options:

Option 1: Standard

Option 2: Standard without Audi logo on hood

Option 3: Standard without numberplate and Audi logo

Option 4: Standard with big Audi Logo on the grille

Option 5: Standard with big Audi logo and numberplate

Option 6: Rounded two part grille

Option 7: Edgy two part grille

I hope you can help me with this
