93 Impreza tranny for 92 Legacy

Are the transmissions for these two cars interchangeable?

Yes. Double check that the Legacy used an EJ-block motor on the VIN plate (I'm 99% sure they did back then) and you should be fine. The bellhousing then the motor may not have the same number of bolts, but it should all line up and be fine.
