Manitoulin Super Truck

hey fellas.. here my latest project. I know there is alot of work left to be done and changes to be made. I admit it is not really what i wanted to accomplish. I am more or less just messing around and trying new things on this one.. who knows maybe when finished I will like it more I am kinda liking the chrome tank..although I will blend them a little better...just wanted to lay out the colours first... anyways... thanks! Any ideas? C&C welcome..

Re: Manitoulin Super Truck

hey GB..thanks for looking. I used Photoshop for this. Started a long time ago and got tied up with other things..lost interest..and it laid around. I may go back to render it in ink instead for the final piece...thanks for your time.. BTW I often visit your posts and have seen your deviantart site... I love your work... have you got any good links for Illustrator tut's?... thanks again...

The rendering is beginning to look fine, although I do have concern about the perspective on the wheels (especially on the back of the trailor...they look like they are turning towards us). You may want to have another go at those, before commiting them to colour.

BTW...do you eat at Gloria's (Sudbury question... )?

Hey thanks for your time.. i actually just quickly used the oval to give rough ideas where the wheels are going to be placed. The rendering below has the correct proportions and what not. This is nowhere near finished.. the wheels wil be the last thing I attack. Thanks again..

Re: Manitoulin Super Truck

here is the latest..still not done..but i am starting to like thelooks of it as times goes on... thought someone might like an update...i actually had to lenghten the tank on the rig, as it appeared too short while looking at photos.. so the reflective bands on the side need a little work to look proper...but thats simple.. I am just not too sure now ..how in depth to go with detail b4 it may look too busy .. any ideas?. Is that a commom concern for some artists?.. or I am maybe trying to rush the final piece?.. Any c&c welcome..
