Lightbulb TORNADO intake add on

i was just wondering if any one has had any experience with the tornado fuel saver. I heard that it is suppose to increase gas mileage by 2-3 MPG, but also to increase horsepower by around 10 HP. Some people have told me that it isn't worth it and it might make it worse(because i'm putting it in a 2002 bravada, with a 4.2 I6), but some say the opposite. just want to see what u guys think about it...thanks!!!

If you are talking about that shiny metal thing you put in your air intake it's crap! Total scam IMO !

Money would be more wisely spent on curb feelers...they work!

Re: TORNADO intake add on

It doesn't improve fuel milage or power....the much needed tune-up before you install the piece "to get the full benefit of your Tornado" is what makes the improvements.
Any spin induced in the airflow after the air filter is canceled and straightened when the air passes through the throttle body butterfly.

Sounds kinda like those diet pills that guarantee weight lose but the small print says "when used with the enclosed diet and exercise program" There is no magic pill to lose weight and there are no hidden secrets to better gas mileage.
