spoon wheels

i was wondering who actually likes the look of the spoon wheels. I know that they are light, strong, and complete the jdm look, but why don't you get some volk's that look much better in my opinion and are good racing wheels. i bet they're really expensive too

i like rota rims, they are light. look like spoons and are 1/4 of the price. Just the way rims should be. hehe

i like the look of teh spoon rims too, but i also like the volks. so if i was a rich bastard, i'd get one or the other, or maybe both. haha. all i know is spoon makes one of the lightest 16" rims that i've ever heard of. i think they're 8-9 lbs. but i used to love te-37's and the new le-37 as well, but after i saw the prices, i sorta gave up on 'em. I decided onbuying some rota's too. haha....12 lbs ain't bad at all for 500 bucks a set..

My friend has a White 4-door with the Spoon rims on it and low profile tires. They look phat with contrasting against the white body. So nice infact that some guy in the city wants to give him like $2000 and an oz of CRACK for them. Yes I did say crack, my friends not going to do it of course; but i just think it's funny. But he's getting a paint job in a month or so with championship white and black trim so his car will look dope with the rims to match.

My brother has 16" speedy 's on his cars, which look like spoon but thinker. He wished he had spoons but after a while of driving around L.A, we noticed that the speedy's are probably better for street use because they are much stronger than spoon (from what ive heard).
