Thank you Everyone

Dear Lincoln Enthusiast,
With much sadness, I say farewell to all of my friends here at A/F-Towncar. Recently a 6 pt. deer chose to run in front of my beloved 96 T/C and totaled it. Thankfully, my wife who was driving, walked away without a scratch, thanks to the wonderful design and engineering that went into these wonderful cars. Unfortunately the household budget and the recent price in gasoline, forces me to downgrade to a smaller and more efficient mode of transportation. I'll always have a special place in my heart for my Lincoln and for everyones help and input here on this forum, Especially Towncar/Steven. He has helped troubleshoot and diagnose my '96 for many months while still keeping my family safe and helping us to save countless dollars. His help was greatly appreciated.

I am expected to get the car out of the bodyshop next week and will make the final decision then, but everyone has told me that the damage it sustained, I will have problems later on. Thank you all.

<overwhelmed with sadness>

Someday you'll see another one in great shape, with a deal that's too good to pass up..
.. just to keep in the stable for weekends and road-trips.

It's going to be tough to find a high mpg car that'll hold it's own against another huge deer.
We don't get much of that around So.Calif... just some large insects

Glad to hear the Mrs. was undamaged..

Re: Thank you Everyone

Sorry to here about the TC. My condolences. It's good to hear that the car did well in the crash test. I hope I won't be testing mine. Too bad your aren't close I woulld buy it. I could put the parts to good use. If it makes you feel any better I busted up my old work truck. One of those darn trees in the back yard jumped out in front of me again. In my defence I wasen't drinking, probaly the problem Ha Ha. We have had lots of deer around lately, see them every day. Had some nice big ones in the yard day before yesterday, drove the dogs nuts.
