JDM Aftermarket Fog Light Kit

I am not sure if any of you have purchased or are familiar with these JDM aftermarket fog light kits, but I purchased one on ebay at a decent cost. I have installed the kit complete, with harness, lamps, relay, and switch but I haven't been successful in getting them to work. They are wired according to Honda's instructions, since they don't come with anything but a wiring diagram and no one on the planet can give you more information. Here is whats happening. I have connected all appropriate connectors to their desired locations on the main harness. I am left with three wires in the engine compartment. 2 red and one white. Following honda's kit instructions which component wise look almost identical to my aftermarket kit, I concluded that the white and red lead, which were taped together, could be put in the 14 pin connector, and remaining red lead in the 20 pin. under the relay box of the vehicle...(again based on honda's kit & color code, red/brown white/purple, red/white and so on.) Knowing full well since the color code for the wiring diagram doesn't match this aftermarket harness I gave it a shot anyway. The kit's fog light switch will illuminate with the dash when the lights are turned on. When you press the switch too turn the lamps on, the on indicator on the switch doesn't illuminate, yet the icon is still lit, and I have no fog lights. I know that the headlamps have to be in the low beam position for the lamps to work. I have moved grounds, and so on? What should I do next? See if I have power to the lamps? Then what if I don't? Anyone have suggestions, better yet, installation instructions from JDM? This is on a 2005 honda accord ex coupe....

Re: JDM Aftermarket Fog Light Kit

heres an easy way to wire them....take the positive wire from the lamps, run them to a switch, then run the ground wires to the ground, then run a "hot" wire to the switch....

and if it is an illuminated switch, run a ground wire to the switch
