1994 Buick PA- Security light stays on
Hello Ladies and Gentlemen
While I'm driving the security light on the dash panel information area stays lit. NO horn is sounding or lights flashing, just the security light stays lit. Could this be a blown fuse or a early warning sign that the alternator is dying. Thanks, 2early |

Your security system is operating in "fail-enable mode" due to some type of system failure, while the engine was running. Several things can cause this. You will need to try the TDM relearn procedure, in order to reset the system. Of course, if the same problem reappears, more than likely the system will return to the "fail-enable” mode again.
