Installing Subwoofers with Bose system

I have the optional Bose premium system on my Intrigue and I just bought a pair of subwoofers to go in the trunk and an amplifier to power them. Does anyone have a wiring diagram for the Bose amplifier so that I can get line level outputs from it (preferably with full range - noncrossed over) and input that into my sub amplifier? Better yet, has anyone attempted to add subs to the Bose setup?

I'm fairly fluent in with audio gear, so I'm confident if someone gives me a wiring diagram for the harness(es) on the Bose amplifier, I'd be able to figure this out. Also, has anyone run an amplifier power cable through the car, to the trunk? Is there an easy way to get it through the firewall? Better yet, is there a power source somewhere closer that can be used?

Thanks in advance to all for your input. BTW, I got 2 Sony 12" subs in an enclosure for $160 from a Sony store, which I think is a decent deal. My amplifier isn't quite as good, only an 800W max (I think 340 RMS) refurbished Sony for like $80 with a 3 year replacement policy for $15. For the price, I figured I'd go for it.

Hello I am installing a system next weekend and I can't find a place to run the power wire thru the firewall. Have you had any luck in this? Does anybody have any ideas? I might put the car on ramps tomorrow to look some more.\

its on the passengers side, close to the floor (you have to pull pack all the carpet) Its a pain in the ass. Words of advice, take a razor blade and cut a fairly large slit in the rubbet grommet from under the hood (reach way down behind the altenator) You have to craft a way to get the wire through it. Its not a simple grommet, its kind of a 2 sided one. I usually use a clothes hanger and tape the power wire to it, and poke the clothes hanger through the grommit....but admittadly this one was dificult. This is why i suggested cutting a slit in the grommit, and the power line *should* find its way out.

I got the power wire thru the firewall this morning. A real PITA.. I found the grommet on the pass side a rectangular grommet about 3in by 2in. I just drilled a hole to the right of it and put the car on ramps and ran the wire thru. It took me about 1.5 hrs make sure if you drill a hole that you put a grommet in the hole to protect the wire. Hopefully I will get mynew pioneer premier cd player in tomorrow or sunday. Will let everyone know how the PAC ROEM-GM32 adapter works to replace the HU in the BOSE system.

Well, asside from being louder than normal, I hooked my alpine headunit up directly to the factory bose amp....no extra equipment...just hooked it up like I would hook it up in a car without an amp. Like I said, its louder that normal (for instance if a comfrotable listening volume normally is 10-15 then it is now down around 4-8....no biggy) But theres NO distorion or interference. Been like this for a few months. All you need to do it provide the amp a turn on signal and a ground...both located in the standard harness (no extra wiring)

factory amplifiers have ADF (anti distortion filters) ...hooking subs up to the line level outputs yeilds VERY unsatisfactory results (almost laughable)...you could try a line level inverter hooked to your back speakers. In the end its a crap way to wire up subs. You need a clean line level putput from an aftermarket CD deck. I have not been able to track down a wiring diagram for the bose amplifier, it seems GM changed the wiring several times throughout the late 90's (the cadillac with the same shape connector for the BOSE amp has a different wiring schematic...even though it appears to be the same system)
