is it true that the turbo on a lancer is made of titanium?

I read on supercars.net that the tubo of the lancer 6 is made of titanium, is this true or is supercars.net bullshiting agian like when they said a turbo 300zx does a 15.6 quarter-mile

it probably is true, i know its made of some lite metal. titanium sounds right. i have it in my brocheure. from what i hear its basically a super 16g also, which is really bad ass.

Yes, the new EVO VII or VIII which ever one you want to call it does have a new titanium turbo. I think it might even be a ballbearing but i do know that the twin-scroll turbine nozzle has been reduced in diameter for faster spooling up

I don't think its the actual turbo thats made out of titanium but just the turbine.
Unless thats what you meant from the beginning.
