B&M Shifter...
Wassup guys, I just have a quick question. I was looking at the B&M Pro Bandit shifter, and I noticed that the manual stated it has two neutrals, one neutral for driving around purposes and the other being true neutral. I just wanted to know what is meant by neutral for driving around purposes? Would really appreciate the help. Thanks guys in advance.

Because of the design of these types of shifters you have to click thru several gears to get to "true" neutral. But this B&M Bandit shifter has a safety feature that lets you find neutral in between gears with one click - so in case of engine or drivetrain failure you can still coast to safety without having to go from 2nd gear to 1st gear to reverse then FINALLY neutral.
This B&M shifter is made for GM Powerglide transmissions - a lightweight aluminum 2 speed automatic tranny. Not meant for Hondas. |
