Oil leak DUH!

I have an oil leak directly under the harmonic balancer. It is coming off the sensor or whatever right on the bottom. Looks like a bolt holds it in with a small bar bracket. There is a quick release wire connector coming out. Could there be a ring gasket failing? What part is it exactly? does the whole piece need to be R/R?
Also, I just replaced the oil filter bracket! I guess the yo-yo at firestone clamped the new filter. Not too bad a job, Just had to make one paper gasket at the top of the tub. the o-ring still looked good. Probably cause it was After the dealer part counter was closed. LOL

Re: Oil leak DUH!

The sensor is probably the CKP (Crankshaft Position Sensor) and it does have an o-ring gasket. If you remove and/or replace the CKP a "CKP System Variation Learn Procedure" must be performed. It should be performed by a qualified mechanic with a high end scanner capable of doing it.
