Used LT4's?

Could anyone in the states give me an estimated price on a complete used LT4 from a wreckers, preferably an 85+ TPI ? I'm interested in knowing what the price is because we can only get crate motors down under and they are pricey at $5000. How much would a TPI injection setup cost?

Used LT4's are very, very hard to come by. The were only offered as an option in '96 Vettes, and came standard in the '96 Grand Sport Vette's, which are now collector cars. If you have an LT1 now, you would better off getting LT4 heads, intake manifold, and get the LT4 HOT cam kit. Bolt it all on and your good to go.

i can get some 5.0 camaro's but hes right the lt4's are hard to come buy for any decent price. the only ones ive seen come to my auction's have been completly destroyed

Yeah, Blacks right, Go with the crate if you are serious about it at least you can get a warranty and have the receipt in case you want to sell that will give you some leverage. (Not that you would want to sell)
