Braking question on 07 Aveo

Does anyone experience the car shakes when braking at freeway speeds (above 50mph)?

Angry Re: Braking question on 07 Aveo

I have a 2005 AVEO and I have had this problem on and off since day 1. It is really bad now.

Re: Braking question on 07 Aveo

Most likely warped front rotors. If the Aveo is the car I'm thinking of, the rotors are TINY. Braking produces heat, which can build up to the point where the surface actually starts to melt and bend. Going easy on the brakes will help reduce the heat. There could also be a brake proportioning problem that is causing the front to do more work than they're designed to do.
