Nice start. I have this kit in my pile as well. Will you be building Senna or Prost's ride?

Also, I believe those things on the sides are radiator outlets.

Looks good Johnny! I wish I was this good when I was 20! (25 now). Are you going to use white primer over the grey? I highly recommend this because you'll find that the grey primer may slightly darken the white paint. Keep it up!

Excellent preparation work so far.I would also recommend using some white primer as white paint over grey will darken the white significantly.

Re: WIP Tamiya Mclaren Mp4/4

It's all looking very good. You are right to take time with the puttying work.Time spent getting it right will pay dividends when you come to the painting stages.

Re: WIP Tamiya Mclaren Mp4/4

update once again...
the tires were sanded with a motor tool ( i think they look really good ) and then washed

the red parts masked and sprayed the first coat, i sprayed the second coat but these are pics of the first coat.. I figured its easyier to masked off the red when its time to spray the white.. It might mess you up the red but i used the tape as a guid line because i dont really have to mask the whole body becuase most of its going to be red so i masked the red and after that i will mask up the red and spray the white.. ( i dont know how to explain it good i hope you get what i mean)

i would like to thank zubski for hes tips for my tamiya..
i wont have a update for a while now soo be patient
