Engine Light & TCS Light on 2000 odyssey

Help !!
Can anyone advice me whats the problem w/ my 2000 odyssey.

engine light on, did replace the egr vale and cleaned the intake manifold due to the code P0401 wlc is egr low flow detected. After doing that, the engine light came on again together w/ TCS light this time. I tried to turn off the engine and turn on again the TCS light went off but after a few minutes of driving the TCS light went on again.

Pls advice. Thanks

Re: 2000 Honda Odyssey

Hi Lorunner,
Thanks for responding. The code remain the same (P0401). This time its the check engine light on only. Take note that I'd changed the egr valve and cleaned the intake manifold already. The driving performance is still normal. Do you think I need to check the electrical systems ??
Waiting for your reply.
Thank a lot.

Re: 2000 Honda Odyssey

And you properly cleared the code? How many miles since it returned? Did you drill out the EGR port on the underside of the intake and put in the sleeve ?

Re: 2000 Honda Odyssey

Lorunner,

How do you drill out the EGR port and insert the sleeve. I recently replaced EGR valve but wasn't sure where the sleeve goes. Can you give more details?

Thanks

Re: 2000 Honda Odyssey

the intake needs to be removed. There is a special drill that the dealers have that makes the port the proper size so the sleeve is tight.

Re: 2000 Honda Odyssey

I have the same problem with a 1999 Odyssey. Did you ever resolve the problem?
