W.I.P.Lancia 037

Hi to everybody I post some photos of the model on which I am currently working, they are pleasant suggestions, comments etc.etc....

http://i155.photobucket.com/albums/s295/li...37/DSCN2667.jpg

Wanting to realize a model completely open for before thing I have effected a photographic search very deepened.Using the back of a blade to point x-acto, I have opened the door and the back chest. You/he/she has been enough easy, however I have had to reconstruct the frame of the door and the you pick up water of the done montante.ho a test of assemblage of the motor and inside and comparing them with the photos the first thing that I notice and that both the structures of the loom don't center anything with the auto you.

http://i155.photobucket.com/albums/s295/li...37/DSCN2673.jpg

The difficulty of this realization not and so much to reconstruct etc parts..etc..but to build always holding them of eye the following phase of painting. For example the battitacco cut by the door I cannot glue him/it to the vaschetta of the insides but I owe rincollarla to the bodyshop.meanwhile with some listellinis I have glued the back part of the controporta previously cut, once all well dry with a file I have brought her to equal with the body shop.
For the battitacco I have confined to close the empty spaces with some fillets. With a piece of adhesive ribbon for carrozzieri I have taken the dimensions of the cork then cut out on a leaflet of 0,25mm plasticard.I have also reconstructed the anterior uppercut on which I later must find the way to fix the door.

http://i155.photobucket.com/albums/s295/li...37/DSCN2702.jpg

With the use of a lathe I have entirely realized the dampers, the measures have been takings to eye, as materials I have used some aluminum rods..by now taken by the enthusiasm I have decided to also refer the braccettis with big risk not to succeed in finding more the correct position. For this I have brought all the principal dimensions on a sheet millimetrato, sketches that to say the truth I have also found then useful for the construction of the loom.

Re: W.I.P.Lancia 037

Superb work, really

Your extinguishers are great!
Styrene or metal? How did you make the straps?
I ask because I need to make some myself now and I have no ideas
