Re: Chilton or Haynes pontiac firebird

Nope. Sometimes, one must actually do things "the old fashioned way". That is, go to Pontiac and buy a real factory service manual. That will have far more (and more acccurate) information than any .pdf "book". Haynes and Chilton are nowhere near as good as the factory manual. I'm sure there's a Pontiac (or any GM) dealer near you! Let your fingers "do the walkin'" first, then take the short drive. Well worth it! Remember, cars are REAL, not "virtual". Some problems or solutions are simply not available at "the keyboard".

Our local library has most of those "out-of-print" Chilton manuals on the shelves. Might be worth a look!

The price is right, three weeks for free.
