Exclamation 1986 carb tuning help???

well i reblaced my plugs on my 1986 buick regal and when i would get on the gas the car would shimmy weird at first when i hit the throttle so i double check the plug gaps wires rotor cap its all in check so i thought it could be getting to much fuel and started messin wiht the idle screw and am now at the point of no return and need some one elses help ne one know the factory setting or some advice it would be a hudge help thanks

thanks its a 5.0 v8 four barrel quad jet i started messin with the idle screw after replacing the plugs and getting a weird shimie when hitting the throttle so i figured it was getting to much fuel ended up dickin around to much and am now lost as far as the idle screw goes just wounderin the factory settings and or what i should do next

Turn the screw all the way in until it lightly seats (don't crank it down or you'll ruin it). Then turn it out 1.5 turns as a starting point.
