Astounding work, well done! I love all the incredible detail.

P.S. Thanks for the last photo 'especially' for me It's just hard to visualise sometimes how small this thing is.

Re: 1/43rd Lotus 7

Absolutely love it!
That last picture just...begagglefies

The only comment I have is that the fit of the bonnet is disappointing
What's teh problem there? Is it fixable?

Re: 1/43rd Lotus 7

Thanks for all the comments folks.

@klutz_100: I agree with you about the bonnet, one of the problems with such a small scale, even a small gap looks huge.

It's down to the thickness of the resin, I thinned it down as much as I dared, but any thinner and it would almost certainly break.
I'll be displaying the model with the bonnet off anyway so I decided to settle for an imperfect fit rather than risk destroying the part.

Once again, thanks for all the kind words and encouragement, the only question now is what's next:

'53 C-Type Jag, '66 Ford GT40, '95 Mclaren F1 GTR or maybe a street car, Dino 246 GTS or Ferrari F430?

Stay tuned for the next installment of "Rab strains his eyes and patience in 1/43rd"

Cheers - Rab.

Re: 1/43rd Lotus 7

It is extremely nice for a scale, I love the front lights, they look very realistic.

I agree with Klutz, last picture really blows your mind.
