A CAR-toon for Down-under...

Here's something that rexsins-art probably gets to see for real.
It's a 1974 Australian Ford Falcon XBGT, my favorite of the Aussie muscle cars.

(Sorry that it's not a Holden.)

Re: A CAR-toon for Down-under...

Thanks all for taking a peek.

rexsins-art--thanks for the info, I kind of thought that the "Super Roo" might be the
counter-part to the wheeled Cobra decal that Ford here in the states used
on some of the 68-71 Torino's.
I'll give some thought to a Mad Maxer too.

And would you believe, I working on a Holden CAR-toon, but my hand just can't
seem to get the body shape drawn right.

Cartoonerz--your should try giving some of your toons driver/riders.
Helps me to better draw the interior when I have to fit a body in there too.

Re: A CAR-toon for Down-under...

you cant draw the holden because it knows your a ford man lol,do a search on xy gt and when you find a picture of one you will notice a black GT stripe down the side where it says gt 351 on the frnt fender you will see the superoo ,also do a search on the cobra we had one aswell it was white with a blue stripe and was in the xa-b-c era as above it was a coupe ,they are now releasing the name again and copying the theme cashing in on a classic name

Re: A CAR-toon for Down-under...

Rexsins-art--Thanks for the info, found both of them.
Had not seen any pictures of the white & blue Cobra before.

Well, if I can't finish the Holden, I may switch to a 71 Charger with the inline Hemi 6cyl.
Found a great ref article with color pics.
