I was an avid modeler in my younger years. Mainly airplanes, but also Tamiya's F1 cars. I've been collecting several* kits over the last few year with the intention to start again 'soon'.
So for starters, I started practicing airbrushing on some inexpensive kits. With a bit of patience and practice I should manage that. Still some questions though: - What kind of glue is normally used building kits? I ask this because I see people happily cutting suspension arms and attach them again with no apparent structural problems - How do you glue Photo Etched items or whitemetal for that matter? Advise is appreciated! (By the way, I'm living in Europe) *) Most of Tamiya's 1/20 McLarens, the 1/12 Mp4/6, Lotus 49, Jordan 191 |
