Completed YAMAHA YZF-R1 Taira Racing

Hello,
Finished Tamiya 1/12 Yamaha YZF-R1 Taira Racing Ver.
Painted cowl, tank, frame Finisher's Fine silver. swing arm and silencer are mixed light gold.
cutted tail fender off. I didn't use 'aurora sticker' for windshield because that surface is lough for 1/12 model.

Here are finished pics.

Thank you for looking!

if this wasn't posted in the model section, i would of thought it was an 1/1 scale. your skills is top notch.

Hi kunta,

looks cool, just that coloured exhaust tube has got a little too much colour for my taste.

Signs you've been modeling to much, refering to real bikes as 1/1 scale ;-)

Re: Completed YAMAHA YZF-R1 Taira Racing

great work, but litle criticism
tubing for rear brake! it can't be like this in real world.
brake rotors are too....
personaly, i disagree with tamiya for this black decal under bike.
you has following directions of tamiya manual word by word, but you dismiss nuts painting. actually you are, but it is not correct way.
exhaust tube are some what .... over colored! not at last, all bike was new, but exhaust tube was used.

sorry for that.

one question, how you make mirrors and ( i don't know word ) front glass? i need this efect for one of my projects.

It seems you switched over to bikes, that never hurts. Either bikes or cars your work is always top-notch. Beautiful finish Kunta.
