99 1500 need help

just got this 99 1500 from a friend and and about a week ago i was coming up my drive way and the brakes didn't want to go down normal? i have check the fluid and its good. anyone know what this could be.

If you mean the pedal was harder to push than normal it's most likely the brake booster or maybe the master cylinder.

ok but do you know why my abs light goes on and off and it only seems to bind up when the light is off?

You need to get the ABS system module scanned for trouble codes and I don't think AutoZone can do that. A repair shop with a high end scanner can. Call around for prices.
