Stumped on clutch problem need help!!

Ok so i have been having more problems with my clutch then i have ever heard of anyone having. So it all starts out with buyin a new clutch and flywheel. I bought a spec stage 2+ and lightened flywheel. It worked awesome for about a year and a half. While i had that clutch my slave cylinder kept blowing out. Im on my third one as well as my thrid master cylinder. I dont go to the shop that did the work anymore cuz they do a shit job but they said they put in a larger slave cylinder so i wont blow out so to speak and now it feels as if the clutch doesnt fully disengage. And to go back to the clutch well thats another story and to shorten it up well one of the springs from the hub came out and torn up everything. So i just got a clutchmasters fx 200 installed last week but it is really hard to put into gear and sometimes ill try to put it into reverse and it will just grind. sorry for such a long post but i wanted to give all the info cuz im pretty stumped. All i can think of is my syncros are goin out but if anyone has any other ideas that im missin it would be greatly appreciated!!

Re: Stumped on clutch problem need help!!

Yes its simple.

Crawl under teh dash and there is a rod that runs thru the firewall off the clutchpedal.

It has a 10mm or a 12mm locking nut.

Loosen the nut and turn the rod.

I cant remember which way moves the rod which direction but either way it may take a few tries to get it right.

Once you have it set tighten the locknut back up.

LOL, Spec clutches fail again!!!! Why do people buy these POS units? I don't see how people would even sell them. The ones I've had come to the shop have a 100% failure rating. It's not IF it's going to break, it's WHEN.

Re: Stumped on clutch problem need help!!

Spec clutches are definately garbage!!! I had 4 of them (all warranty with new flywheel everytime) fail in under 1000 miles each. All of them due to the springs popping out.
Southbend ftw so far, and it handles the torque of the stroker!
