There are brighter bulbs available. I prefer those called Silver Star. They are expensive but very much worth the money. You can find them at WalMart, or any auto parts store.

As far as low beams on with high beams, I think you would have to use a relay and wire it so that when the high beams are on, the realy would turn on the low beams. Relays have two circuits, one to turn it on/off and the other to turn on or off the items (load) you connect to it. So you would want to use the high beams to tell the relay to turn on, and wire the load circuit to the low beams. I would try brighter bulbs first, then if you needed more light, you might try some creative wiring. Good luck.

I've been trying to do the same thing. I just broke down and bought a few lights at walmart...they suck... I cant even tell there on. $40 for nothing...

I'll try at the garadge payday and see if they can do it for me. I looked at the Hays manual but I couldn't figure it out... Allwell...

Sorry guys but please check the date and do not resurrect old threads. Any over 3 months old. Our servers need all the help they can get and bringing up old ones that have to be re-indexed and continued posting doesn't help. You may start a new post on the original issue. Thread closed.
