99 Intigue front bumper cover and fenders

Hi everyone,

I hope this request is ok to post to this forum. My daughters (3) have been driving their 99 Intrigue (3.5 L, 4 door, black in color) for about 4 years. Over this time the front bumper cover and both front fenders are dented (in several places). Now that they have finished "learning" on this car I wanted to buy a black used bumper cover and 2 front used fenders and replace the existing ones. Are there any particular places you would suggest I try getting these from? I live in the Sacramento area.

Thanks,

Rick

You might also check with local salvage yards, if there is such a thing in that area.

You might also find an unsuspecting Intrigue driver with the tools and know-how, the front bumper can be removed in...oh maybe 10 minutes, 5 with a buddy haha.

www.car-parts.com is that. I would say 50%+ of all salvage yards are on car-parts.com

I realize that, there's also many good ones that aren't on there. So it doesn't hurt to check both, especially when you're facing shipping charges for large, awkwardly shaped items.

Re: 99 Intigue front bumper cover and fenders

Thanks for the info .... I called James Auto and when I went down to look at the parts, the front bumper was wasted (two large cuts and a tear), and one of the fenders had a dent. At least it was local, but I didn't appreciate the fact that they said the parts were "in great condition" over the phone. Just wanted to give everyone else a "heads up" about their integrity. Wasted about 2+ hours of my time (had to wait 30 minutes at their site to go and view the parts) ..............I'll keep looking .............

Thanks,

Rick
