Trainsmission...
I have a '94 Plymouth Voyager LX 3.3L. Recently I have been have troubles with my overdrive 3 speed transmission. I was driving about 70 on the highway and it stoped. I can start it up and put it into gear, and it rolls forward, but as soon as i push on the gas it dies. Its Sometimes had a little "clunk" when i took off from stop lights and signs. This is my only form of transporttion so immediate help is needed.

Re: Trainsmission...
Have you tried retrieving codes??
Turn ignition switch (do not start engine) on/off/on/off/on. check engine light will blink if any codes. Example-1 flash-pause- 2 flashes= battery disconnected recently/ 5flashes-pause-5 flashes= end of test. post any codes and we'll help best we can. If I am understanding correctly the engine just stopped running at 70mph or did transmission lock up and kill engine?? Was there any bangs or noises when this happened?? |
