Post egr block plate help

i have a 1.8L engine that i had just bought that is in my talon. it runs but not perfect, i started to think that it might be the egr valve but when i looked i found that it has been plated. what should i do im not sure what is making the car not run right. the problems, the car has to be warm or it will not move it will stall out. in low rpms the car just dont want to move acts like bad gas or something. it has new plugs, wires., fuel filter and a k & n air filter. please give me some suggestions thanks
