EBCM removal?
Has anyone here done this while the module is still on the car?
Here are the instructions - http://www.modulemaster.com/gmabsremoval.html However, I looked at it last night and the torx bolts are all on top with minimal clearance to access. I have torx heads, but what tool do you use to break them loose? I would rather not take the hydraulic lines off. My thought would be a torx bit and a small closed end wrench to turn the bit. Not much room to get fingers or tools above the unit (the bottom of the floor from the vehicle is in the way). This is my second post in two days, can you tell I am not happy about the challenges I am having with my Tahoe? If it had not been so reliable over the last 88K miles it would be a trade in right now. Thanks, Chris |

Re: EBCM removal?
I have done this a few times. I got a ratcheting box end wrench from Snap-On #RS10S and a torx socket that will fit in. I am sure someone else would also make this wrench and torx.
