It's the sun visors

This is to update my earlier post re buzzz? There is a buzzing noise that kicks in around 60-70 mph. After 2 1/2 days the dealership called and said it was coming from the sun visors. He said there are other reports of the same problem and that Nissan is going to have to redesign the sun visors. Don't know how long it will be before they can be replaced. If you unhook the visor the noise stops.

ohh shit man that sucks im sorry for u. May I give u a suggestion on your probliem? it might work if u take a small amout of clear silicone and dab the part the visor hooks on to and let it ruberize if u do it real thin it may deaden the vibration. I hope this helps u if the dealer dosnt fix it. If u do take my advice be carefull the silicone can be pealed off plastic but not off fabric

Oh man, I think I heard that noise too. I work on an air force base, and as you approach the guard shack there are those cuts in the road to vibrate your car so you know to start slowing down. Well the first time I hit one in my Z I heard this INSANE buzz inside the cabin of the car. No idea where it came from. You think it's the same thing you are talking about?

I'd bet it's the sun visors. My dealer says they are still waiting on the replacement. If you check with your dealer I'm sure they are aware of it.
If you have a z made before 9/27 and have the bose stereo system, you also have a problem with the amp. It puts out to much bass especially at low volume. They'll replace the amp, but I hear the replacement amp removes most of the bass.
