Did anyone else go to the race...it was awesome. I was sitting in turn ten(right after the longest straight, through a 60mph ess, then back out to the front straight. There were a lot of nice cars there, also...I saw 10+ NSXs, 10 Vipers, 6 Z06s, 3 Ferraris (a modena, 328 GTS, and 355 Spyder), 2 lotuses (or Lotii, whatever) and tons of 996, 993, and 911 Turbos. The race was really exciting, at least ten spins occured between the practice, qualifying, and race...two cars even smashed the wall
All of the cars sounded awesome, especially the 550 Maranello at 10K RPM The best part of all though was the Corvette win |

Aw man! I wish I was there...they didn't even really show the Ferrari's on Speedvision. I saw the 550 once or twice during a yellow flag, and I never got to see the 360

dude that sucks!!! i want to go!!! were you there for the whole race(all 10 hours)?? i went to the race at fort worth and that was cool. bunch of nice cars there as well. me and my brother got to drive on the track!!
the viper drivers( 44 and 45) suck big time!!! they had the most spins/wrecks/accidents by far!!! i am soo mad there isn't a race in texas for 2002!!! there are no close races to me this year!!! maybe i can skip school and get to a race in georgia or miami. they are having a race on streets in miami. i'll get the schedule up in a few minutes....
