New Member: Need advice on SOHC v6
Hi,
I don't really know where to post this, but I've looked all over this site trying to find a complete write-up of the SOHC v6 timing cassette, chain and tensioner job. I'm getting ready to do this job, I've got the timing tools, and many other parts and just want to be sure about everything before diving in. I'm no novice and have great help. I'm looking for any advice, shortcuts or other helpful hints that could save time, money or headaches. Thanks in advance for your help! Re: New Member: Need advice on SOHC v6
I've got the information for the 1998 Explorer. The information on the timing components wasn't so easy to find, it was in with the engine disassembly.
If you'd like me to send you a PDF of the engine disassembly steps, send me a Private Message with an e-mail address for you that can accept attachments along with a brief description of your request. -Rod |
