new lock actuator out of sync

I replaced the lock latch, actuator and handle on my 2001 ford explorer sport/ drivers side......at the end of this ordeal when I lock all the other doors my drivers door unlocks and vice versa....I unplugged the actuator, unlocked all the rest of the doors and plugged it back in - still out of sync....is there anything else I can try to sync them back up?

How are you supposed to replace the actuator and have them sync correctly?

Re: new lock actuator out of sync

Welcome to the forum!

Sounds like you got the wires backward on the door lock actuator. It is a reverse polarity system, so if you reverse the polarity, it will operate "out of sync."
