18's on a civic
i was planning on putting some 17" rims on my 97 civic. however, the guy at the local store quoted me an awesome price on some 18" wheels. i dunno if that would be a lil too big though. any pics of 18's on civics, plz post. thanx

Definently go with 18's!! I will never get anything smaller on my civic from now on. Here is a pic of my car with 18's, mind you though that in this picture my car is slammed all the way down on Ground Control's for the show, so that really isn't how much wheel well they take up.

18s are nice for show, 17s are the biggest size you should get for a daily driver.

Well it is just my opinion but I think that 17's look to small. My car is a daily driver and I have 18's and they have never been bent or anything. I have had 17's on my civic and hated them. The 18's don't scrap my wheel wells or anything. At first I was nervous about having 18's on my car because my whole kit is molded but I am glad I picked what I did. And if you get 17's and you don't like them they are kind of hard to sell because most people go for 18's. At least around where I live. I don't think 18's are to big at all, I have seen many civic's with even 19's on it, but of course that is just for show!

![]() And it's a proven fact that civics have more 16" wheels than any other size. Just playin' about your body kit, it looks good.
