4T60 to 125C trans. swap

Hi! I'm new here, and I'm not sure if there is a better place to post this, but here goes!

Have a '91 6000 Safari with a 3.1 that the 4T60 trans finally went out on at ~418k kms. Got a 158k kms motor/transaxle (3.1 & 125C) free from a wrecked '92 or '93 Corsica & decided to put the combo in since the Safari had very little rust and many new parts. Most everything is working well - is much higher geared now - not near the pickup in first gear. The speedometer/odometer are now showing pretty much half the speed/mileage that they should be. Surely can't be a speedometer gearing issue, it couldn't possibly be geared twice as high as before! It must be only getting half the electrical pulses that it should be.runaround

The 4T60 had a 5 pin plug, where the 125C has a 4 pin plug. 3 wires were the same color in both applications, so I took the 4 pin plug and hooked those wires up. Not sure what to do with the other wires; I guess I need pinouts for both plugs. The TC is locking up, but only when the speedomoter shows 55-60 km/hr (which is actually 110 km/hr or more!), and it doesn't take much adversity for it to unlock again!
Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks! opcorn:
