205K miles on motor, has to crank over many many times before starting. I noticed that after cranking many times as soon as the oil pressure gauge starts to come up the engine will fire off and stay running.
I can cycle the starts right after it is started the first time and it will not take as long to start.
Where should I start trouble shooting this? Grounding? I notices a couple of threads on that.
I have just replaced the oil pressure sending unit next to the distributor, the water temp sending unit on the side of the block between the exhast manifold headers, and the TPS. Now my gauges work but the emergency brake light will not go completely out when parking brake in disengaged. Could all this be related to poor grounding or another bad sending unit somewhere?
Thanks for the help!
