Headlight Adjustments

Remembering the old days you could pull into a service station and on the back wall would be lines drawn to line up your headlights. What happened to this? I can't find a service station that can adjust lights anymore. Does anybody have the distance and the measurements to create this?

Thanks,

Steve

Probably a little late with this info, but here's what I got for aiming headlights ::

AIM CHECK (35 - 40 feet of flat surface required)

1.) Shine Low Beams on garage door from 2 - 3 feet away and outline the Bright Spots on the door with a pencil or tape.

2.) Back the car to about 25 feet from the door. The top of the Low Beams should shine no higher than the top of the marks on the door, or lower than the center of the marked circle.

TIP.) To raise the Beam turn the top adjustment screw clockwise and counter-clockwise to Lower it. Turn the side adjustment screw clockwise to move Beam to the Right and counter-clockwise to move to the Left.

Final Note; After adjusting, lightly turn adjusting screws clock-wise so Headlamp will be held against the tension spring.

Good Luck!!

Again, Sorry, if it's too Late!!
