Question Is a nissan 350-z better that a 1997 z28 camaro?

1) Is a 2006 Nissan 350 z faster than a 1997 z28 camaro?
2) Is a 2006 Nissan 350 z a better car than a 1997 z 28 camaro?
3) Why is a Nissan 350 z so popular?
4) Is a Nissan 350 z more popular and more desired than a 1997 camaro z28 and why?
5) which would you rathar have?
6) why is a 1995 Honda Civic and a 1995 mitsubishi eclipse so desired?
7) Can a 1995 Honda Civic, a 1995 mitsubishi eclipse and a 2006 Nissan 350 z be compared to a ferarri more so than a 1997 camaro z28 based on power to weight ratio and maneuverability than the 1997 camaro z28 which is driven mainly by power and not maneuverability?

2) Is a 2006 Nissan 350 z a better car than a 1997 z 28 camaro? NO
3) Why is a Nissan 350 z so popular? Not sure
4) Is a Nissan 350 z more popular and more desired than a 1997 camaro z28 and why? Not by true american muscle fans.
5) which would you rathar have? Camaro
6) why is a 1995 Honda Civic and a 1995 mitsubishi eclipse so desired? some people just like slow cars???
7) Can a 1995 Honda Civic, a 1995 mitsubishi eclipse and a 2006 Nissan 350 z be compared to a ferarri more so than a 1997 camaro z28 based on power to weight ratio and maneuverability than the 1997 camaro z28 which is driven mainly by power and not maneuverability? the camaro is not as bad in maneuverability as you think it is.. it can be made to handle really well.. and for the weight of a camaro.. the power to weight issue is not as bad as you think it is..

Look at it this way..

Honda Civic.. weighs 2231.. but has at the most 130 HP

Mitsubishi Eclipse.. weighs 3079 HP 210

Nissan 350 z weighs 3188-3347 lbs(coupe), 3445-3479 lbs(convertible) HP 287 - 300

Camaro Z28 weighs 3306 - 3440 for the vert. HP 275-310

Re: Is a nissan 350-z better that a 1997 z28 camaro?

Two different types of cars for different people. If you posted this in the Nissan forum, I'm sure the answers would be different. 'Better' is a viewpoint, an opinion term. Both have more desirable features than the other, but one isn't a declared 'better' car. Its just whatever you like. Personally, I like camaros over 350Z's (if that isn't obvious).

Re: Is a nissan 350-z better that a 1997 z28 camaro?

yeh. just to tell you, 350z's are slower than LT1 powered cars. i raced one a few weeks back, killed it every time. i have 6 speed, he had 6 speed. stock for stock

but it might have been a different story at the track, seeing how im gonna have to throw around a few hundred more pounds down the track then he is, and how his car is supposed to be revved up.

its all in what you want. anyone on this forum will prolly never turn down a free 350..but if we had a choice, to buy a 06 350 or a TPI/LT1/LS1 camaro and build it with the leftover money..

99.99999% will take the camaro/bird.

so in other words..

stupid question.

chill out, nothing wrong with those questions. much better read than all the ex-girlfriend drama crap in the banter thread.

I wouldn't neccessarily say the 350Z is more desired either, it's just that the punks who own them are typically louder about it.

Re: Is a nissan 350-z better that a 1997 z28 camaro?

IMO this is completely retarded...

Why do you ask us such random questions comparing so many cars to each other? Are you just collecting group answers to buy a car that seems to be "the cool car to drive"? I sure hope thats not the case, cause that would be completely retarded to do...

So, why are you so bent over Z28's, 97's specifically, and comparing them to Ferrari's and random Japanese cars?

I expect a serious reply here...
