If you build it, the turbo will come..... you can put out 12 psi with virtually the smallest turbo and it will spool almost as fast as the S/C. Beyond that, size comes into play. I know the Greddy 15G can boost reliably to 14psi. After that, it starts to go dead at the top end.
Trying to get a S/C to push out that much will probaly cost you a nice little penny, not to mention the extra heat that it PROBABLY wasn't intended to produce in the first place.
If you want to go that high, get one MADE for it. And, believe me, you're going to PAY for it......

Just build an Ls/vtec engine, I saw a turbo single cam at the track running 16 flat, slow, If you ask me. true that he could have been using low boost, or couldnt drive, or maybe he wasnt tuned, but still, think about it. 16 flat.

Experience tells me this is almost one of the WORST things you could do. I've said it time and time again, and a bunch of guys here and at other forums can vouch with me on this...The LS/Vtec swap is usually more trouble than it is worth! You'll encounter unforseen problems and expenses you're not ready for, and you'll constantly be "tweaking"(what LS/Vtec owners call MAINTAINING ) the engine. Just my opinion, but if I were you I'd forget about the LS/Vtec and think about a turbo setup instead. Not too sure about what your goals are, but it sounds like the power you want to make will be easier(and cheaper) to make with a turbo than with a supercharger.
