I have a 95 volvo 940. i washed the engine and now will not start. i dried out the distributor cap which had moisture in it. i have spark from coil to distributor and to plugs but still no start. please help

I hope you will let us know if it starts up after sitting overnight - at least overnight without rainstorms. There have been cases (on a new Mercedes no less) where the wet wiring harness was cross-conducting a signal that interfered wtih the other sensors that need to report; crank position sensor, manifold pressure sensor, throttle position sensor, etc.
